The Ferro Manganese is manufactured by Alumina Thermit Process .

The thermite (thermit) reaction was discovered   by German Chemist Hans Goldschmidt and the reaction is sometimes called the "Goldschmidt reaction" or "Gold schmidt process”.

a metal powder and a metal oxide, which produces an exothermic oxidation-reduction reaction known as a thermite reaction.

To reduce the Ferro Manganese we use  aluminum as  the reducing agent it is called an Aluminothermic Reaction.
